Académie de la Capitale, or Acadecap, is a unique bilingual day school, located in Ottawa, Canada’s National Capital. Académie de la Capitale is the first IB World School in the Ottawa/Outaouais region to be authorized to offer the Primary Years Programme for children 14 months of age and older. 
The International Baccalaureate Organization curricula, have proven over the years, to be among the most academically rigorous programmes in the world. The PYP's inquiry-based approach suits many different types of learners. The key elements of the programmes, fundamental to a globally responsible and well-rounded person, include internationalism, community and service, as well as learning about learning.
To enhance Acadecap’s international character, the faculty is made up of teachers from different parts of the world. Acadecap teachers have diverse educational backgrounds and teaching experience.
